Welcome to Nageena Akhtar, chiropractor
What is chiropractic?
A Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), chiropractor, or chiropractic physician is a medical professional who is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
Chiropractors treat patients of all ages—infants, children, and adults.
They believe in a conservative (non-surgical) hands-on approach to treating these disorders.
Chiropractic focuses primarily on the integrity of the spine and its surrounding tissues as a means to enhance normal human function and health.
There are two basic philosophies of chiropractic:
1. The body naturally seeks the correct balance among all its systems, which are designed to work together.
2. Proper structure is imperative for proper function. If a structure is impaired by injury or stress, its function can be adversely affected.

Who is Dr Nageena Akhtar?
When Dr Nageena was just 11 years of age she had her first experience of the Chiropractic profession.
This initial exposure to the miracle of Chiropractic occurred when she witnessed her mother’s 25-year-history of weekly migraines resolve after adjustments to her neck.
Dr. Nageena started dedicating her life to acquiring that ‘magic in her hands’; she immediately began reading biology and human anatomy books in order to acquire these skills.
Dr Nageena discovered that specialist training, and a Masters level education, was the minimum requirement to become a qualified Doctor of Chiropractic.
Ever determined, she continued her studies and earned an unconditional offer to the prestigious Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC), UK. Dr Nageena excelled in her education and graduated in 2006 with awards of ‘Best All-round Student’, along with the honorable ‘Students’ Student Award’.
